Dad’s Hidden Talent

Have I told you before that my dad is a good wood carver? He can make a wooden figure or figurine out of wood by just using a cutting tool like chisel. When I was young he told me that he inherited his ability to make a figure out of wood from my grandfather, and eventually it became a hobby. Most of our figurines and furniture at home were made of wood and I guess some of it were made by my Dad.  Just like the other day he carved a duck and unicorn out of wood. When he’s done, he used some sort of abrasives or polishing agents to remove the unwanted marks on the wood and make it’s surface polish and smooth. Then, he varnished it. The finished products were perfectly awesome, I swear! When I have a time, I will try to post the pictures of his finish work here.
