No Way! Malware On My Celebrity Blog?

Thank God Its Saturday! My favorite day in a week and I was supposed to be enjoying this day but instead of having fun I was stocked here in front of my laptop figuring out what was wrong with my celeb blog, as one of the advertiser informed me last night that it has a malicious malware, which is not appearing on my browser and in my other friends browser as well. Even though I haven’t encounter the said malware every time I check my celeb blog, I’m still worried cause if I wasn’t able to fix it obviously she will not hire my site anymore to advertise. So I was so puzzled. I did all the steps I need to do like tracing for suspicious js code on my wordpress files, deleting unused themes and plugins which according to wordpress support is where the suspicious malware could possibly hiding but I checked them all one by one before I delete them I didn’t find any of it though I still delete them just to be sure.  I also took off some script code on my site like the entrecard and some adv script just to be sure that the malware code was not injected on their code. So, below is the screenshot of my celeb blog with the warning window sent by the advertise.

Though I wasn’t able to enjoy this day, I am still thankful that today is Saturday, cause if not then I will not have the time to fix my blog.

your advertiser is using avg right? if that’s the free one, it’s not really trustworthy. the best avs are esetnod and norton. avg is sometimes fake when it comes to virus, just so their customers will go buy the pro versions. I wish I saw this earlier so I was able to tell you about AVG to defend your blog to the adv xD But I hope everything’s okay now :)

Sorry to hear about that. I’ve never experienced having malware on any of my blogs. Hope you’d be able to fix that soon so you won’t miss out much on opps. :)

Even though you didn’t get to relax, i bet it was a relief you got the problem fixed with your blog and you had the time to do it. :)

You are somehow lucky if the malware that was found was on “his/her” computer and not in your web page. Maybe she is using an old antivirus or just doing multitasking and ended up with another site that has virus.

    Sheesh, that is very depressing…

Sorry about your blog. . . I haven’t experienced having malware on my website. It’s probably from another site. But it’s good to hear that you were able to fix the problem! Good job!
