I never thought that the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the eleventh year of the new millennium will be memorable for the whole family. I thought that this sort of special date would be just an ordinary day just like the other day. Unfortunately, it was not. Last night, cousin from province sent a kind of news that no one ever wants to hear. One of my favorite uncle ( mother side) passed away just minutes before November 11 ends. According to my cousin, uncle Benny died due to heart attack. Same with the caused of death that took my grandfather’s life 9 years ago.

So tomorrow morning, we will go to Tarlac for the funeral wake of my uncle. Tomorrow is also the 4th birthday of my niece but since the bad news came, it’s not the proper time to have fun and celebrate niece’s birthday.  I’m gonna miss my uncle so much. Every time we spent a vacation there, he was the one who always prepare and fix every thing we need from food to room where we going to sleep. He always make sure that we always have a comfortable vacation every time we get there. He was so thoughtful, kind, sweet and generous to us. We surely gonna miss him on our next Christmas vacation.

Okay. It’s already after midnight, it’s time for me to hit the sack now, I’ll still have to get up early tomorrow.
